Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
What is CBT?
CBT is one form of counselling that I use to support clients to change the way they think and behave. It focuses on how your thoughts and beliefs affect your behaviour and feelings. I support clients to recognise and challenge negative thinking patterns which cause them difficulties. This then allows them to change the way they feel about situations within their lives.
CBT is an effective form of counselling because it works from the outside in. Therefore it brings faster relief from symptoms. CBT is especially effective for clients suffering from anxiety, depression and low self esteem.
