Jodie Mainstone - Integrative Counsellor
What is Integrative counselling?
Integrative counselling is an approach to counselling that brings together different elements of specific counselling, schools of thought and ways of working. This is because no one approach or theory can be used to treat the differing issues that a client presents with when attending counselling. Counselling should be tailored to the individual's needs and circumstances. Integrative counselling also supports a client to fuse together the different elements of themselves. Integrative counselling aims to facilitate healing and wholeness.
Some of the therapies I use within my practice include person centered counselling, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic and systemic therapies.
