Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of counselling I utilise to help clients transform their thinking and behaviour. It emphasises the connection between thoughts, beliefs, and how they influence feelings and actions. I guide clients in identifying and questioning negative thought patterns that lead to challenges in their lives. This process enables them to shift their perspectives on various situations they encounter and do things differently.
CBT is particularly effective because it addresses issues from the outside in, often providing quicker relief from symptoms. It is especially beneficial for those dealing with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.
